What are you raising money for?

We are raising money to provide food and essential supplies for families and children in underserved villages across Nigeria. Many of these communities face severe hunger due to poverty, inflation, and unemployment. Our goal is to supply rice, beans, garri, oil, and other food items to families who can barely afford a single meal a day. Every N500 ($1) donation will feed a family for a day, while N3,000 ($6) can feed them for an entire week. The funds raised will be used to purchase, package, and distribute these items directly to the affected communities through trusted volunteers and local coordinators.

Why are you raising the funds?

We are raising these funds because hunger remains one of the most heartbreaking challenges facing millions of Nigerians today. In many rural areas, children go to bed hungry, parents struggle to provide, and malnutrition is becoming common. The Anti Poverty Foundation believes that no human should suffer from lack of food, especially in a world blessed with abundance. We want to create a system where no family is left behind — starting with 20 targeted villages across different states. This campaign gives compassionate individuals and organizations an opportunity to make a real impact and help end hunger one meal at a time.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds raised will help us buy food in bulk at affordable prices, transport the items to remote areas, and distribute them to the families that need them most. It will also support packaging, logistics, and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability. Our goal is to reach at least 1,000 families in 20 villages, ensuring that no one in those communities goes hungry during this period. Beyond providing food, the campaign will also spread awareness about poverty reduction and inspire collective action for sustainable community support. Together, we can restore hope, fight hunger, and make Nigeria a kinder, stronger nation.
