Community Youth Centre for Empowerment

Egbeda Local Government Area, the location of the BEIT EL community youth centre; is a largely rural settlement in the suburb of Ibadan Metropolis. The area covers almost 420 square kilometers with about 195 settlements. Egbeda has a high youth population. There is a relatively few number of educational facilities and opportunities for vocational training in the area. They cannot the needs of its youths, many of who are out of school or unable to continue to the stage of education)

The Beit El Community Youth Centre is the first facility that will provide all-year round computer education and vocational trainings for youths in the Egbeda axis. A minimum of 100 youths (aged 15-20 years) both male and female will be engaged in multiple 7 week trainings per year.

The youth centre is a 3 phase project which includes: computer and vocational training facilities as well as administrative and recreational facilities. The Beit El Youth Centre will also provide mentorship and counselling services.
