What are you raising money for?

Imagine a future, where we build beautiful hardwares on our own. A future where with fewer resources, we can build affordable and good quality products that are excellent and preferred over foreign brands. This is the future of Frugal. Frugal aims to help neighborhood entrepreneurs and innovators develop their ideas into practical products they can market in their communities. They bring the idea, We build it, They sell it. People with little or no technical expertise can contact us with an idea, and we'll work with them to develop it into a tangible good they can sell to anyone, anywhere. We are the ones who are building a future where beautiful hardware products can be created within Nigeria without having to import them. Basic products such as Bluetooth speakers, power banks, LED bulbs and more, can now be developed here in Nigeria. Our goal is to make creating simple technological solutions possible and available within the country.

Why are you raising the funds?

To make this possible, we will need to build a computer numerical controlled machine to our specification. The machine we are targeting is a CO2 Laser Cutting machine. The cost to buy the smallest size of this machine which has a 40x40CM cutting area from abroad is N800,000. However, with N725,000 we can build a much larger, better performing, and more functional CNC machine with a 50 x 80CM work area. WHAT WE NEED So far, from our personal funds we have been able to secure N220,000 leaving us with N500,000 hence why we are making request from kind hearted philanthropist and our SPONSORS.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

HOW DO YOU BENEFIT AS A SPONSOR OF THIS CAUSE Our Sponsors are going to be rewarded with the following 1. 0.5% equity stake of our startup company for every N50,000 donated. 2. A special and unique product will be built and customized to each of our backers taste as a gift. 3. Names of our backers (unless they wish to remain anonymous) shall be engraved in stone tablets and put to public as founding members of such a revolutionary startup.
