What are you raising money for?

I am Mary Oluwabunmi Taiwo, the founder of Maryomoba 4 in 1 Store, a growing social-impact business based in Nigeria. I am launching a fundraising campaign to support underprivileged students in our community by providing them with 100 school bags and 100 pairs of sandals before the next school term begins. This initiative was inspired by my desire to help children from low-income families access basic school materials that can encourage them to attend school regularly and learn with confidence. Many of these students struggle to go to school because they lack essential items, which often leads to absenteeism and loss of motivation. By providing these basic learning tools, we can inspire hope, promote education, and contribute to breaking the cycle of poverty. With just 119 days remaining, my goal is to raise enough funds to ensure every identified child receives both a bag and a pair of sandals. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in the lives of these students. Through this campaign, I seek not only to provide immediate support but also to promote awareness of the importance of investing in education. I believe that empowering children with the right tools today will create a brighter and more sustainable future for our communities. By giving these children something as simple as a school bag and a pair of sandals, we can make a meaningful difference in their educational journey. This project is about more than just giving items—it’s about restoring hope, dignity, and the desire to learn. With just 119 days to go, my goal is to raise enough funds to reach all 100 identified students. Every donation will go directly toward purchasing quality school bags and sandals to ensure that each child is fully equipped for the next school term. This initiative also aims to inspire others to support education-focused causes and show that small acts of kindness can have lasting impact.
