Summary:
Hello, my name is Nkenna Amadi, I recently moved back to Nigeria after completing my studies in the UK. On visiting some of the public secondary schools here in Lagos, Nigeria I was extremely disheartened by the state of the learning environments these kids are subjected to. From the lack of quality teaching and writing materials to the current state of infrastructure or the lack of electricity or access to clean water at some of these schools I have taken it upon myself and seek your help in contributing towards the lives of these children. Hence, I am currently embarking on a personal project that I am very passionate about. These projects are subdivided into four main themes namely: Education, Health, Team spirt/co-operation and Female empowerment.  Thank you very much for having a read and I believe you can contribute immensely by sharing with your friends/colleagues, your donations are well appreciated. Regular updates on the how you've helped change the lives of many would be provided monthly. The proceeds from your donation would go towards these schools in the following ways listed below:

School Infrastructure Improvement Project

This addresses the pressing need of the students of Gbara Community Secondary School. Provision of the above listed items or services is of no need if these key issues are not addressed. These issues include:
1.            Access to electricity: This would be addressed through the provision of a prepaid electric meter. Estimated cost: 70,000 Naira
2.            Cleaner environment: The current state of the school’s environment is in dire need of revamping due to constant flooding of the school’s grounds. I plan to solve this issue of water logging by constructing a larger suckaway.
Estimated Cost: 400,000-500,000 Naira
