What are you raising money for?

The Ummah Vitality Ramadan Project aims to strengthen community bonds and revive the spirit of worship during the blessed month. Our objectives are to provide a meaningful Ramadan lecture that educates, uplifts, and reconnects hearts to Allah. We also seek to host a warm, inclusive iftar that feeds fasting Muslims, supports the needy, and promotes unity. Through this project, we intend to create a space of knowledge, compassion, and brotherhood while encouraging acts of charity. Ultimately, our goal is to inspire faith, support the vulnerable, and ensure every attendee experiences the mercy, generosity, and blessings of Ramadan. The prophet Pbuh said whoever feed the less privilege is like a mujahid that fought In the way of Allah or someone that uses all his night to pray and uses all his day to fast

Why are you raising the funds?

We are raising funds to organize a meaningful Ramadan Lecture and Iftar Program that will benefit our community spiritually and physically. The goal is to provide a platform where Muslims can gain valuable knowledge, reconnect with Allah, and strengthen their iman through inspiring lectures. In addition, we aim to host a warm, inclusive iftar that feeds fasting individuals, supports the needy, and brings people together in unity. Your support will help cover venue costs, food, logistics, and essential materials needed to make the event impactful. By contributing, you share in the reward of educating, feeding, and uplifting the Ummah. The Prophet phuh said “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.” (Tirmidhi )

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds raised will help us create a meaningful and impactful Ramadan experience for the community. They will cover the cost of organizing a spiritually enriching lecture, providing sound, chairs, materials, and a proper venue. The funds will also be used to prepare and serve a quality iftar meal for all attendees, including the needy and fasting Muslims who may not have access to a proper meal. Additionally, the funds will support logistics, setup, and distribution of essential items to ensure the event runs smoothly. Every contribution directly helps educate, feed, and uplift the Ummah this Ramadan. Allah SWT said: “And what will make you know the steep path? It is to free a slave, or feed on a day of hunger, an orphan, or a poor person in misery.” Quran 90 vs 12:6
