What are you raising money for?

What are you raising money for? I am raising this money to acquire a laptop, a laptop within the budget of 250 - 300 thousand, that'd help me fufill my career . I am currently learning Virtual Assistance as a digital skills, I do not wish to learn in vain. I am/have been limited to so many gigs without my personal niche as a creative writer and as a virtual assistant. Having a laptop would help me grow, learn, and may make useful to my community, myself and my family. A laptop is all it takes for me to being useful, it really would.

Why are you raising the funds?

I am currently a final year student, I would be graduating by December. This question keeps ringing in my head, What's next from here? I am the fourth child in my family and I have been limited to certain care because of our large number of 9, I have been funding my project and paying my bills through an NGO, but my training has ended there. Life has been tough. But I'm not lazy person, I have learnt so many skills, digital based skills, saw many gigs I could easily apply for and get the job done but I face limitations because of my phone. I own a Techno Pop 6 phone, and it does less, it does nothing but view the jobs. I am not lazy. I am currently undergoing training at DEXA and I'll be a certified Virtual Assistant soon, it's a free training. I don't want this to go to waste. I'm more of an helpless person right now. I'm struggling with projects in school. It's not supposed to be so, I am a Creative Writer and I will get certified as a virtual assistant. Having a laptop is like an answer to prayers.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

If I get to attain the funds for this laptop. These donors have done a symbolism of removing stones from my shoes, and clothing my nakedness. I will be able to gain gigs online, virtual assistant gigs are so many online, creative writers are needed daily, but I don't have a laptop. These things require a laptop. I'll be able to host free virtual classes when I become a master of my skills, when i have evidence to show. It is my dream to give back after gaining. It's going to big shift for me. A big start for my career, and a tool that would lead me to greatness.
