What are you raising money for?

I am raising money to urgently fund a life-saving kidney transplant. I have been diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure, and my doctors have confirmed that a transplant is the only long-term solution that can give me a chance to live a healthy, productive life again. At the moment, I rely on dialysis, which is extremely expensive, painful, and only a temporary measure. The cost of the transplant, surgery, hospital care, and post-transplant medications is far beyond what I can afford. I am reaching out with humility to kind-hearted individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to please support me. Why are you raising the funds?

I am raising these funds because I am battling end-stage kidney failure, and a kidney transplant is the only realistic chance I have to survive and live a healthy, normal life again. Dialysis has helped keep me alive, which I do 3 times weekly but it is extremely expensive, physically draining, and not a permanent solution. My doctors have recommended an urgent transplant, as I have undergone a nephrectomy procedure (removal of one of the damaged kidneys) to create space for the new one, but the total cost of surgery, hospital care, tests, medications, and post-transplant treatment is far beyond what I can manage on my own. This fundraiser is my only hope to afford the life-saving treatment I desperately need. I am reaching out for support so I can overcome this health crisis and rebuild my life.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds raised will help me receive a life-saving kidney transplant and cover all medical expenses associated with the procedure. This includes the cost of the transplant surgery, pre-transplant evaluations, hospital admission, laboratory tests, medications, and post-transplant care. The funds will also support the cost of dialysis while I prepare for surgery, as well as the lifelong anti-rejection drugs I will need after the transplant to keep the new kidney functioning properly. By contributing, you are helping me regain my health, end the physical and financial strain of ongoing dialysis, and restore my ability to live, work, and care for myself., wife and only child, also restore me back to take of my business and create job opportunities in my community.
