What are you raising money for?

The 21 Foundation is raising funds to supports Hearts of Gold Children Hospices, Cerebral Palsy Centre, Sebeccly Cancer Care, United for Kids Foundation, Kids and Adolescents living with HIV/AIDS at Mushin General Hospital. This means that more cancer patients would have access to cancer screening and treatment, better care for children living with extreme disabilities, cerebral palsy, HIV/AIDS as well as education and resources for of out of school children within the underserved community. #GiveBigWalk21 is our renewed call! Because as we look to the future, our vision grows stronger. This year, our goal is to raise ?25 million and beyond for the causes we support. Why are you raising the funds?

This year marks 12 years of walking in the pursuit of that purpose, to make life just a little easier, a little better, for someone else. In the past eleven years, we have raised over Sixty Million Naira. But more important than the amount raised is the impact. Over time, we have built lasting relationships with incredible organizations doing vital work: 1. Hearts of Gold Children Hospice: giving society’s most vulnerable a dignified home and standard of living. 2. United for Kids Foundation: ensuring children stay in school and have a brighter future. 3. Sebeccly Cancer Care: enabling structured, early intervention and support for cancer patients. 4. Mushin General Hospital: where we have extended support to children living with HIV/AIDS. 5. The Cerebral Palsy Centre: supporting the care of children with cerebral palsy. What will the funds raised help achieve?

Funds raised will be used to support the five charitable causes we partner with as shown below: 1. Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice – Funds will provide medical care, feeding, and palliative support for children with extreme disabilities, ensuring comfort and dignity in their final stages. 2. Sebeccly Cancer Care – Donations will support cancer treatment access affected individuals and their families, fund early detection programs, and provide counseling and chemotherapy subsidies. 3. United for Kids Foundation – Contributions will go towards school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and nutrition for orphans and children in underserved communities. 4. Cerebral Palsy Center – Funds will help cover therapy, mobility aids, caregiver training, and special education tools for children living with cerebral palsy, improving quality of life and independence. 5. Children Living with HIV/AIDS at Mushin General Hospital – Funds will provide medication, nutritional supplements, regular checkups, and emotional care for children managing HIV/AIDS. Together, the walk will fund healthcare, education, therapy, nutrition, and dignity, helping these children and adults survive and thrive.
