Help Asher Osagie Fund His Open Heart Surgery.

Asher Osagie is a 1 year-9-month-old boy, born with a severe heart condition unknown to the parents. It was recently diagnosed at the Paediatric Cardiology Unit of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) that he has a heart condition known as Large Sized Peri-membranous Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), in simple terms Asher has a Large-sized hole in his heart.

Asher’s condition is life threaten as the condition of the heart is now affecting his lungs thereby preventing him from breathing normally. He will require open-heart surgery to correct his heart defects to save his life.

Asher has been referred to a Specialist at a Pediatric Congenital Heart hospital in India for this surgery and the hospital have been contacted.

He is required to be admitted for 10-days for the total corrective procedure and post-surgery recovery management. The total cost of treatment from the hospital is estimated to be USD 8000 asides from the extra cost of travel expenses.

The funds raised will enable Asher to have this open-heart surgery and more importantly give him the gift every parent prays for, a long and healthy life for our kids.
