* Emergency Medical Access: Funds for registration at a private clinic for immediate emergency treatment should complications arise, as she is very fragile. * Home Nursing Support: Hiring a professional nurse to visit and attend to her at home at least twice a week. Due to her limited mobility, this essential care cannot be fully managed by us alone. * New Bedding: A new, comfortable bed frame and mattress are desperately needed to replace her current, worn-out setup. This is vital for managing her pain and preventing pressure sores. * Infection Control & Wound Dressing: A consistent supply of specialized items (dressings, antiseptics) to manage the malignant breast wound, prevent infection, and control odour, which is our daily challenge. * Nutritional Support: Access to essential nutritional supplements and supportive herbs(Jinja herbal ) and other recommended herbs for palliative care to maintain her strength and well-being.

Why are you raising the funds?

I am writing to humbly ask for help for my mother, who is bravely fighting Stage 4 Advanced Breast Cancer. Mama's journey began last year with a lump that was surgically removed. Tragically, the cancer returned with shocking speed, leading to the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Advanced Breast Cancer at UCH, Ibadan. At 89, my mother’s advanced age and frailty led to a heartbreaking decision: we chose to prioritize her comfort and dignity over aggressive, debilitating treatments like chemotherapy and mastectomy, which we felt her body could not withstand. My wife and I are now her sole caregivers, focused on keeping her pain-free and ensuring her quality of life. Our biggest and most challenging daily task is the specialized management of the malignant wound on her breast—a complication of the aggressive cancer. This requires constant, specialized care to prevent infection, manage pain, and control distressing odour. We have been covering the costs of this specialized care entirely on our own, but we have reached a critical breaking point and have exhausted our resources.
