PRESIDENT BUHARI RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN SUPPORT.

Fellow Nigerians, President Buhari took over the leadership of the nation at one of the most difficult times in our nation's history.

We had chaos in multiple sectors and in spite of sustained high Crude oil earnings, salaries were unpaid, terrorists were threatening to over run the country, our economy was on the brink, so much so that appointees of the last administration were warning of imminent dangers. 

Infrastructure were left unattended to, Contracts were awarded but Contractors were not paid, bilateral and contractual agreements (even with other nations) were not honored, thus causing Contractors to abandon project sites and throw many citizen- workers out on the streets. 

Corruption was liberalized for the high and mighty at the expense of the common masses, holding the nation by the jugular and threatening to strangulate it. 

It was a crises waiting to happen and it did happen eventually. 

President Buhari painstakingly, responsibly and prudently navigated the nation out of those very difficult times and has now set the nation on a path to true recovery and greatness as a result of several targeted, deliberate and bold actions, plans and programs. 

Boko Haram has been decimated and territory hitherto occupied by the terror group has been recovered and normalcy has gradually returned to the affected areas. Old and new security issues like the Farmer/Herder Crises are also being painstakingly addressed.

Our Economy is being revived slowly but sustainably through the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) with Inflation dropping month on month, approaching single digit, hitherto depleted Foreign Reserves are growing steadily, our Exports are increasing and diversifying hence our over dependence on Crude oil is gradually becoming a thing of the past as Agricultural Production and Processing, better internal revenue generation and fiscal prudence are now the order of the day. We now borrow to fund critical Infrastructure and not for consumption or to pay salaries. 

The political will of the Buhari administration to implement the Treasury Single Account (TSA) played a major role in sanitizing government finaces and plug a major leakage pipe in our Treasury, making it easier to track government funds and check stealing. 

Stealing is now corruption with a reinvigorated fight against corruption which has recorded unprecedented recovery of stolen funds and assets and conviction of high profile individuals across Party lines.

Infrastructures across the federation are receiving attention. Roads, Rails and Bridges like the second Niger Bridge, Lagos - Ibadan Rail line etc are now actually being built. 

Our Power Generation has topped 8,000MW for the first time in our Nation's history and work will soon start on the near 4,000MW capacity Mambilla Hydropower Project conceived over 25 years ago.

Salaries and emoluments owed almost forgotten citizens like Ex-Biafran Police men, disengaged Nigeria Airways staff have been cleared. 

A new National carrier - ‘Nigeria’ Air will debued by the end of this year.

Several Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) like the Anchor Borrowers Program, School Feeding Program, Conditional Cash Transfer, Small and Medium Enterprise Schemes, Moni Market Scheme amongst others are helping to grow and revolutionize our Agriculture, take citizens out of extreme poverty, give them a decent living, keep children healthier and in school, improve businesses and help the poorest of the poor among us.

Nigeria has returned to its place of pride amongst committee of Nations and its leadership role in Africa is no longer challenged.

President Buhari's achievements have endeared him even more to Nigerians. Even sincere critics acknowledge these but opine that there's room for improvement and rightly so.

There are opposition, naysayers and deniers but he has garnered even more support than the one he had in 2015, so much so that millions of ordinary citizens want to be part of the clearly unfolding success story of a new and truly great Nigeria.

They truly believe the President is selflessly and altruistically working for them and they are very willing to support him in any way possible to continue the good work for another 4 years including chipping in their widow's mite in support of his re-election bid.

This is not because President Buhari, out of his integrity cannot muster enough personal good will to fund his campaign but rather because of that. They believe it is a collective project and they want to be part of it. They just want to own a piece of the campaign and write their names in the history book of Nigeria's revolution.

From the N-power beneficiary who has been given a life line, to the School food Vendor who has seen her life and that of her family improved to the rice farmer whose life has been transformed through the Agricultural revolution to the State Civil Servant whose arrears of salaries was cleared through Bailouts to his State Government to Federal Civil Servants who have seen regular and timely payment of salaries and years of arrears of allowances and promotions settled to the person in the North East who could return to business and work because Boko Haram has been decimated to the trader at Ariaria Market who now enjoys 24 hours power supply through a dedicated power project to many citizens who drive on roads that have been left un-motorable for decades but can now ply on good roads to the citizen who can now live in Kaduna and commute back and forth to Abuja in Abuja daily by Rail and save money from high rent to the ordinary citizen who just wants responsible, committed and sincere leadership, good governance and a Nigeria where tribe, creed, tongue and status count for little. 

They all want to chip in because they do not want a return to the looting and irresponsible past.

It is by no means Uhuru yet and that's why they believe re-electing President Buhari to consolidate on that journey is the way to go and they are ready and willing to contribute to that.

It's in recognition of these clear facts and the fact that it would be unfair to deny them that opportunity and by popular demand that the Buharists' Hang Out under the aegis of the Foundation Against Fraud, Indiscipline and Corruption, in line with its mandate to promote and support any individual or institution working to promote anti-corruption and good governance, in collaboration with several pro-Buhari groups is anchoring this unique crowd funding Project on this uniquely Nigerian Crowd Funding Platform to give Millions of well-meaning Nigerians the opportunity to chip into the project of re-electing President Buhari in 2019. 

No amount is too little but in line with the provision of the Electoral Act 2010, maximum donation by an individual will be limited to One Million Naira  (N1,000,000:00) only. 

We intend to raise up to N500, 000,000:00. By so doing, no single individual or group of individuals can hijack the process or the campaign and that would be on all fours with President Buhari's mantra of "I belong to no one. And I belong to everyone".

At the end of this fund raising Project in the next 40 days, Leaders of the various collaborating groups with as many Nigerians as possible will directly present whatever we are able to raise to President Buhari with a comprehensive list of all the Donors including donors who may wish to be anonymous as our gift of love to support his re-election.

It is very important for this process to be transparent and credible. That's what we promised the Nigerian people and in line with President Buhari's zero tolerance for corruption. 

In that respect, you would be able to view the amount so far raised at any point in time and the names of the contributors on the platform.
