A Passionate Appeal for Financial Support for A Medical Emergency: Amarachi Ivy Adi

Amarachi Ivy Adi is an 11-year-old child and the third of four children of her parents.  She is currently in the second year of the junior secondary school.   She was recently diagnosed of a brain tumour (encephalopathy) which is gradually degenerating her vision as well as causing her unceasing headache.   The prognosis from the neurosurgeon is that an urgent surgical procedure is urgent to prevent further damage, subsequent to a biopsy to evaluate the malignancy or benignness of the tumour  before feasible therapies could be considered to save her precious life.   Given the nature of this tumour, the  neurosurgeon believes that the best bet is to have her flown immediately to India, the UK or the US for the precision treatment required to constrain the growth of this foreign body in the very delicate thalamic region of her brain.  The estimate to have her receive treatment in India is about $46,000.00.  The parents are doing their very best but given this huge cost and the prevailing economic condition, we need the support of good spirited and charitable people to come to our aid.  We are appealing for support from the general public to save the precious life of Ivy.  Thank you and God bless you.
