What are you raising money for?

At Tony Digital 247, we are raising funds to support our grassroots initiative — Digital Literacy for All — which aims to train individuals from underserved communities in essential digital skills using smartphones and personal computers. Many people in rural and low-income areas are left behind simply because they lack access to basic digital education. They can’t afford training fees, have no digital mentors, and often miss out on opportunities available online. We are determined to change this. We’ve already launched the initiative in Ukanafun L.G.A., Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and are expanding to other local government areas including Essien Udim and Etim Ekpo. Our goal is to reach all 31 LGAs in Akwa Ibom, and eventually extend across Nigeria and Africa. Why are you raising the funds?

Funds raised will cover training materials, internet access, lunch, logistics, branded T-shirts, and special empowerment packages for outstanding trainees. Your support will help us scale this programme across all 31 LGAs in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and eventually throughout Nigeria and Africa. With your support, we will also offer internet access and lunch during sessions, ensuring that learning is not hindered by basic barriers. Funds will go into printing training manuals and branded T-shirts to create visibility, unity, and a sense of belonging among learners. We aim to empower top-performing participants with digital tools like smartphones, data support, and learning kits. Your donation will also cover logistics, venue setup, and stipends for volunteer facilitators who are central to this mission. Lastly, the funds will help sustain a three-month mentorship and continued access to learning platforms for graduates.
