Urgent Radical Nephrectomy for my Fiancée

What are you raising money for?

I am raising funds for my fiancée’s urgent radical nephrectomy at LASUTH. She has been battling aggressive Renal Cell Carcinoma for over nineteen months, and despite continuous targeted therapy, the cancer continues to grow. A 16 cm tumour now occupies most of her right kidney, and her doctors have confirmed that surgical removal of the kidney is the only viable option to stop further progression. We have already missed two scheduled surgeries because we could not raise the required funds. The next available date is December 22, but we remain unable to proceed due to financial limitations. The total amount required is N5,000,000. This cost covers the surgery, anaesthesia, theatre fees, hospital admission, pre-operative anaemia correction, possible blood transfusion, post-operative care, medications, follow-up imaging and a contingency to prevent any treatment interruption. What will the funds raised help achieve?
