Meet Bimbo, a 38-year-old mother with a 10-year-old child on the autism spectrum.

Bimbo lives in the slums of Bariga and has never gotten real diagnoses for her son Ade, but had often noticed that while her child was growing up, he wasn't meeting his developmental milestones. Ade is non-verbal, doesn't attend any school, flaps his hands, eats the same food and watches the same tv program when he is privileged to.

Just like Ade, many other families are living with a developmental disability but do not have the funds to get a proper diagnosis and therapy. 1 in 100 children are living with developmental disabilities; this population is historically underserved and are often subject to discrimination and stigma. Research also shows that early intervention is vital.

Join us raise funds to help give Ade and his mum Bimbo and 100 other families free three days training, workshop, starter kit and access to various intervention services to equip them better to live a full life.
