What are you raising money for?

We are raising money to support 71 orphaned children across three orphanages in Kwara and Kaduna States, Nigeria. These children face daily challenges including food insecurity, lack of school supplies, unpaid school fees, and the risk of eviction due to outstanding orphanage rent. Through this fundraiser, we aim to provide three months of nutritious meals, pay school fees, supply essential school materials and backpacks, and cover rent—restoring stability, dignity, and hope to their lives. This campaign is part of a special Children’s Day initiative to spotlight and support vulnerable children who are often overlooked. Many of these children have experienced significant trauma and instability and are in urgent need of consistent care, education, and a safe environment. Our goal is to rally compassionate individuals, both locally and globally, to stand in the gap and give these children an opportunitytothrive.

Why are you raising the funds?

We are raising funds to address the urgent and ongoing challenges faced by orphaned children in Nigeria. Many orphanages operate with limited support and are unable to consistently provide the basic necessities children need to survive and thrive. Children often lack consistent meals, proper school supplies, and safe, stable shelter. We believe that no child should have to choose between food and education or live with the fear of displacement due to unpaid rent. Children’s Day in Nigeria—celebrated on May 27th—presents an opportunity to bring attention to these realities and take action. This campaign is our way of saying that every child matters, and that love, care, and opportunity should not be a privilege, but a right. By rallying local and global support, we aim to bring dignity, hope, and tangible solutions to the lives of these children.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds raised through this campaign will be directly used to meet critical needs in three partner orphanages serving 71 children in Kwara and Kaduna States, Nigeria. Our targets include: 1. Feeding: Provide daily nutritious meals for the children for a period of three months, ensuring they grow strong and healthy. 2. Education: Cover school fees for the upcoming term to keep 10 children enrolled in school. We will also supply essential school materials and backpacks to support effective learning. 3. Shelter: Contribute towards paying orphanage rent, securing safe and stable accommodation for the children without the fear of eviction or displacement. Your donation goes directly toward transforming the everyday experiences of these children—restoring their dignity, encouraging their dreams, and securing their future.
