Clean Water For Nitè Village

First, we believe "Water Is Life" which is the 6th Goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as "The Global Goals," adopted by all Governmet of the world.

In Nitè village, Women and the Girl-child are often charged with the resposibilty to fetch water, trekking long distances to get water for household usage.

Did You Know?

1. Women and Girls carry more than 40 pounds of dirty water from sources miles away from their homes.

2. Almost two thirds, 64% of households rely on Women and Girls to fetch water for the family when there are no sources of water in the house.

3. In developing countries, as much as 80% of illnesses are linked to poor Water and Sanitation conditions.

4. 783 million people do not have access to clean and safe water. 37% of those people live in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Child Empowerment & WaterAid Iintiative wants to change the status quo by providing "two manual hand pump borehole water" for Nitè village that has no Water, School, Light and Hospital which are the basic amenities for humans.
