The persistence of COVID-19 pandemic means that economic and social activities are at their barest minimum. While this affects everyone, people living in extreme poverty are the most hit. The estimated 40% Nigerians in this category are largely left at the mercy of hunger and the Coronavirus. It is likely that they may suffer more from starvation than COVID-19. Sadly, there are no elaborate plans by the government to ensure the welfare and wellbeing of these Nigerians. As a result, non-government organisations like GlowCare Foundation (GCF) are shoring up support from individuals to help fight the impending hunger strike. GCF is running a COVID-19 hunger relief project to make food products available to individuals living in economically disadvantaged communities through a door-to-door delivery process. Help us build a “Food Butlery” by donating in cash or in kind. . Remember to stay safe and healthy
