Over the last 10 years, North East Nigeria and part of the Middle Belt have been ravaged by insurgencies, herders attack on farmers, banditry and kidnapping.

Our NGO, which is known for community development and improving the lives of rural dwellers and those affected by insurgencies, have embarked on massive rehabilitation, reintegration and refreshing theses Internally Displaced Persons, over the last 8 years.

So far, we have built houses and accommodated 2, 560 families and have trained more than 4,000 on various entrepreneurial skills acquisition and development. 480 of these trained displaced persons have received a mini of 10,000naira and 100,000 respectively as startups for their businesses. This has cost us 650,000,000 million naira in total.

We intend to raise 2 billion naira to cater for the housing and educational needs of 6,000 additional IDPs, whose houses and homes have been left in the hands of these terrorists and bandits. Training of 30% of the total population that make up the youth, will be engaged massively. The program is expected to kick off by November 20th , which will last for six months, hence, the reason for the urgent request to meet these growing needs of displaced persons in Nigeria.
