The Didi Project

The Didi Project seeks to educate young people with sickle cell, caregivers and other interested people on the management, prevention and stigmatisation of sickle-cell disorder. We do this by producing educational comic books based on 13-year-old Didi Destiny. She is our fictional character and through her stories, readers get a first-hand look into her life while dealing with the condition. Proceeds collected from this project go into special awareness programs at schools and clinics under Cells of a Generation Initiative.
