What are you raising money for?

In Nigeria today, many children are forced into domestic labour simply because their families cannot afford the cost of education. At Delight Kids Empowerment Foundation (DKEF), we believe that no child should be denied the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream all because of poverty. That’s why we’re committed to breaking financial barriers that keep children out of school and protecting them from the dangers of child exploitation. We are on a mission to remove the financial barriers that keep children out of school and to shield them from the exploitation of child domestic labour. Through your support, we’re creating a world where children are free to learn, thrive, and build their futures without fear or limitations.

Why are you raising the funds?

In Nigeria, over 10 million children are out of school — many of them vulnerable to abuse, trafficking, and forced labour. Most of these children are bright, capable, and full of potential, but poverty pushes them into roles they were never meant to carry. With your help, we can rewrite that story. Education is a powerful tool. It gives children the chance to dream bigger, to rise above their circumstances, and to break generational cycles of poverty and exploitation.
