Giving Sight to the Poor

Debby Eye Foundation is a non profit Organization with the mission of reducing  and preventing Blindness and Visual Impairment in our country, Nigeria mostly in rural areas with a few or no Eye care facilities. We visit hospitals, companies, communities in Ogun State for Eye care services such as carrying out Vision screening and Eye examination to determine those who have condition that hinder good sight, correct poor sight with glasses for those who require them, screen for Eye diseases and refer those affected for further treatment and free Eye surgeries,give health talks and counsel them on Eye health and prevention of blindness. We want to do more for  under -privileged Nigerian citizens who cannot afford expensive Eyecare services by reaching out to them with good quality glasses both for distance and near, medications and also educate them on how to take proper care of their eyes in different states. We need your help to achieve this goal. Many Nigerians today, are loosing their sight due to late detection of their Visual Problems. Nigeria is among the ten most populated countries in the world. Many have Unoperated Cataract, Glaucoma, Uncorrected Refractive Errors, Macula problems without knowing what to do or where to go. These people need us to come to their aid.It is essential that all Nigerians have access to good Eyecare.
