What are you raising money for?

We are First Global Challenge Team Nigeria 2025. A team of 13 passionate high school students from across Nigeria, united by a love for STEM, innovation, and solving global challenges. We have one dream: to raise Nigeria’s flag on the global robotics stage in Panama this October. Competing against over 192 countries, we will use our skills to promote Eco-Equilibrium through a game modelling of the ecosystem. But without funding, we can not get there. We’re raising $10,000 USD for registration, accommodation, feeding and visas costs. Your support is not just helping us compete, but showing the world that Nigerian youths can dream big, build boldly, and inspire a generation.

Why are you raising the funds?

We are raising funds to give Nigeria’s brightest young robotics minds the platform they deserve on the world stage. While our country is rich in talent, creativity, and innovation, many of our students—especially those from underserved communities—lack the resources and opportunities to participate in high-impact global competitions. The FIRST Global Challenge is more than just a robotics competition; it’s a gathering of over 192 countries where young leaders collaborate, problem-solve, and engineer solutions to pressing global challenges using science and technology. By supporting our campaign, you are helping Team Nigeria cover the costs of travel, accommodation, registration fees, and essential robotics equipment. Your contribution directly enables our students to engage with peers from around the world, gain invaluable experience, and bring back skills and inspiration to share within their communities. Representing Nigeria on this platform is a powerful opportunity to showcase our country’s innovation, resilience, and ingenuity—proving that with the right support, our youth can lead in shaping a better future for all.
