Mental Health Speaks 3 is the third editon organized by ASADS.
The theme of the event is “Me, My Mind and My Body”. The event showcases panel
discussion, lectures from therapists and spoken word. The aim of the event is to use various
actvities that appeal to people to address mental health.
This edition seeks to gather
stakeholders in the mental health space, the government along with the general public to
achieve the following:
1. How to effectively collaborate to reduce mental health issues and stigmatizaton.
2. Discussion of the issues in the mental health space in Nigeria and proffering of solutions.
3. Offering free therapy to people in need.
4. Encouraging participants with mental health issues on how to be better.
5. Seeking to create a safe place for people to further express themselves and get help.
