No Hunger Day- Pilot Project

This project is aimed at creating a significant and impactful change through outreaches. It is no doubt that millions of individuals go to bed every day hungry for food and thirsty for water. Hunger has been known for instigating petty crimes in society, and even leading to loss of lives in some cases.

Hunger could be caused by a variety of reasons but in Nigeria, it is caused by poverty. Complaining, marching and strikes haven’t solved anything, we must resort to making this change happen ourselves. We must rise and collaborate to making right the wrongs we see around us.

Feeding bellies is a noble act; but once that is done, those you fed will feel hungry again. This project is a three-in-one project, where we’ll; feed the bellies, feed the minds and empower the hands of individuals.

Where will this project take place?

Poor communities within Abuja and existing IDP settlements.

How do we plan to make this happen?

Feed Bellies- Set up a temporal mini soup kitchen within selected communities.

Feed Minds- Counselling sessions, mini-workshops, mentorship

Empower Hands- job match, academic support, business setup/financing 

Project Duration

This is a pilot project and as expected, there will be close monitoring of participants for a period of up to 12-months.
