PRECIOUS NEEDS A HAND

When Precious was 1, her mum noticed a swelling on her left hand. This came as a surprise to her because precious didn't have any sort of accident that could have caused the swelling.

She sought medical advice from a prescribed hospital, where she was informed that a fluid extract would be done to reduce the swelling and the pain.

Two days later her mum noticed her wrist was dark and had gone numb. She took Precious back to the hospital for further proper care but was then informed that the left limb from her elbow down would have to be amputated to reduce further infection and to save the upper arm.

By March 2017 she had the surgery where her forearm was amputated.

Right now, Precious is currently in school; in basic 1 and a super happy kid. She fondly calls the amputated hand “my blessed hand"
