SAVE OUR SOUL (Help Stop Malaria)

Disturbed by the high wave of Malaria infection in Nigeria with over 240,000 Malaria related deaths in 2017 and an estimated 190 million people at risk of infection as at January 2019, IDIA Africa developed a strategy aimed at preventing new Malaria infections and create access to treatment of existing cases and named it project Omega (End Malaria). 

Our team is now set to build on the success of the 2017 and 2018 edition held at Ketu and Oregun areas of Lagos State with a total of 629 people reached through mass advocacy health walk and detailed interactive lecture and 150 FREE Long Lasting Insecticide Nets distributed to low and middle income families. 

The overall objective of this project is to reduce malaria infection and mortality resulting from Malaria infection.
