Establish School Library

Since my inception as a corps member, I got interested in making impact in my host community, I have researched about the needs of the people in my host community especially the students. I’ve been exposed to the underprivileged conditions of students in my community.

Attached is a picture taken from oroworukwo  Community secondary school, phalga, rivers state.

The picture seen there is a student who desires a comfortable space to concentrate but Because of the high number of students in each classroom, This student is subjected to sit on the floor to read her books, some of them even stand. 

Establishing a standard school library will promote active reading and concentration for students at Oroworukwo.

This is why I am embarking on this project to establish a standard library. The school is partnering with me by providing and empty class where the library will be established, The empty class still need a lot of structure in place.
