What are you raising money for?

Classroom Supplies – We provide students with essential learning materials such as textbooks, notebooks, pens, and other academic tools to support effective learning and classroom participation. School Infrastructure – Our initiative focuses on improving the physical learning environment by renovating classrooms, supplying desks and chairs, and upgrading sanitation facilities. These changes create a safe, clean, and conducive atmosphere for both students and teachers. Technological Development – To enhance 21st-century learning, we introduce digital tools like tablets, projectors, and educational software. These resources help students gain access to modern learning techniques and stay competitive in a technology-driven world. Capacity Building – We invest in teacher training programs that build professional capacity, promote the adoption of modern teaching methods, and strengthen subject knowledge. Empowered teachers are better equipped to deliver quality education and drive improved learning outcomes.

Why are you raising the funds?

• Every child deserves a quality education in a safe and well-equipped learning environment. Yet, over 10.5 million children in Nigeria are out of school, and those who attend face significant barriers. Schools in underprivileged communities often lack basic infrastructure, classroom supplies, and access to technology, leaving students with little hope of breaking free from the cycle of poverty. • Many schools have overcrowded classrooms, inadequate learning materials, and lack essential facilities such as clean water, electricity, and safe restrooms. In rural areas, the situation is even worse, with harsh learning conditions that hinder students’ growth and well-being. • Through Send the Child to an Equipped School, we aim to bridge this gap. By raising funds, we will provide sustainable resources to improve the learning environment. Our goal is to equip classrooms with textbooks, notebooks, and other essential materials, enhance school infrastructure, and introduce digital tools for 21st-century learning. We also focus on capacity building, training teachers in modern teaching methods. • Education is the foundation of a brighter future. What will the funds raised help achieve?

• At Secondary Technical School, Akokwa, Imo State, students like Chidera dream of becoming doctors, engineers, and researchers. However, they face a significant obstacle—an empty science lab. Despite their passion, they have no opportunity for hands-on learning due to the lack of basic laboratory equipment. No test tubes, no microscopes, no Bunsen burners—just outdated textbooks and chalkboard diagrams. • Chidera dreams of becoming a medical researcher, but how can she master chemistry without conducting a single experiment? “We learn about titration in class,” she says, “but I’ve never actually seen it happen.” Her words reflect the struggles of countless students, ambitious young minds hindered by a lack of resources. • This is where your donation can make a difference. Donations will enhance school infrastructure—repairing classrooms, upgrading facilities, and creating a better learning environment.
