What are you raising money for?

With tears streaming down his face, Mr. Taoheed Ajibola, a father of four who came to Naomi Helping Hands International Foundation—his heart heavy with worry, his hope hanging by a thread. Mr. Ajibola’s eldest son, Abdihaleem Adedamola Ajibola, is a student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. But life has taken a difficult turn for this struggling father. Once able to provide, he now finds himself barely able to keep up with daily needs, let alone his son's tuition fees. Fighting back tears, he said he doesn’t want his son to drop out of school—not after coming this far. But if help doesn’t come, stopping his son’s education may be his only option. A painful decision no parent should ever have to make. This is not just one man’s story—it is one among many cries for help we receive daily. At Naomi Helping Hands International Foundation, we verify each case, and Mr. Ajibola’s is one of the many we now carry close to our hearts. We appeal to kind-hearted individuals, partners, and organizations: please stand with us. Together, let us give hope to vulnerable and out-of-school children. Let us help rewrite their stories. Because no child should have to stop learning due to lack of school fees.

Why are you raising the funds?

We are raising funds to support children who are facing the heartbreaking reality of dropping out of school due to poverty. Many of these children come from low-income families that can no longer afford to pay tuition fees or provide basic school needs such as uniforms, textbooks, writing materials, and transportation. As a result, their dreams of education and a better future are being cut short. Our goal is to intervene and ensure that these children stay in school, continue their education, and are given a fair chance in life. With your support, we can break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures for them.

What will the funds raised help achieve?

The funds raised will be used to cover school fees, provide essential educational materials such as textbooks, uniforms, writing tools, and learning aids, and support the basic welfare needs of Abdihaleem and other vulnerable children facing extreme financial hardship. Many of these children are at risk of dropping out of school due to poverty, despite their eagerness to learn and succeed. Your contributions will not only help them remain in school but also give them the opportunity to thrive academically. Additionally, part of the funds will be used to support their health and nutrition, ensuring they can focus on their education.
