1. The Community Impact 2023: This is a community development initiative that provides free medical checks for community members, vocational skill training sessions, educational materials (books, writing materials), and renovations to a school that is in need. 2. The Prison Impact 2023: Our prison project provides basic food and hygiene items for inmates. It also includes skills training and procurement of jamb forms to aid their reform and to also provide free legal services to inmates with minor offenses, basic amnesties for the inmates both male and female and assist in the release and rehabilitation of inmates. 3. The Fundraiser 2023: It is a yearly fundraising event aimed at raising funds for Cancer, Sickle-Cell, and Mental Health and providing financial/ medical support to sickle cell warriors and people living with cancer.
The funds are being raised to support various projects aimed at making a positive impact on different areas of society. These projects include the provision of basic necessities for the community, catering for the welfare of inmates at a prison in Lagos, increasing awareness and sensitization about cancer and sickle-cell diseases, and providing support for mental health, such as training more mental health listeners, awareness campaigns, and creating an application and website for access to consultation with psychologists, counselors, and listeners. The ultimate goal of raising these funds is to champion community impact and development in the areas of education, health care, and mental well-being.
The funds raised will help us achieve several important goals. First and foremost, they will enable us to provide vital health care services to community members who may not have access to medical care. Additionally, the funds will allow us to provide empowerment programs that equip community members with the necessary skills to start businesses and become self-sufficient. For prison inmates, the funds will help us provide basic necessities like food and hygiene items. We will also offer skills training and legal services to help inmates reform and successfully reintegrate into society upon release. The funds will also support mental health services, providing counseling and therapy sessions to those in need. We will work to increase awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health through education and outreach. Finally, the funds will support the fight against cancer and sickle cell disease. We will work to increase access to medical care and treatments for cancer patients, and provide financial and emotional support for sickle cell patients. Overall, the funds raised will have a tremendous impact in improving the lives of many individuals and communities. They will enable us to provide necessary services and support to those who need it most, ultimately helping to build stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.
